“The Poor Family”

On 13 September 2009 I had gone to Kandal province. There are many poor people in this village. And I saw a woman that her family is very poor.

I had interviewed a woman called Mrs. Chhea Voeurn, she hasn’t any husband, and her husband’s gone by HIV. She has 7 children, but there are only 4 children that are living with her, and the other they already had their own family, so they go to live away from her. Among 4 of them there is a child called “Ravy” who got HIV that’s given by his father. Before his father died, he had a girlfriend, and his girlfriend got HIV, so that why he got HIV. And it was not only him that got it, he also bring it to his wife and his son. And it made many problems to this family; it made this family become poor. Every day she always go to the hospital to get check out of her health and to get the medicine, so from one day to one day this family getting poor and poor, there is no food, no school for their children.

After I had interviewed Mrs. Chhea Voeurn, I want everyone know about it, and I hope that someone will help her children to live in a center or an orphanage, because there will change their lives like CCH change my life.
